Hello. My name is Cole, and I am a interactive media designer.
I grew up in Texas. I spent my childhood riding horses and playing classical piano. I went to college on a music scholarship later. I also loved writing poetry, and drawing and painting. I continued to write poetry and short stories into early adulthood. Now, I hardly have time to write anymore! But I still love it when I get a chance to write.
I became involved in my high school newspaper, became the editor, and learned early InDesign (PageMaker), and layout. I learned about typography and I hewned my journalistic writing skills. I volunteered at church playing the organ and playing the piano for the children's choir. I played bass in orchestra, learned acoustic guitar, and headed the enviornmental club at school.
I explored experimental music synthesis, and moved to New York briefly to work on an album with a friend. I landed in Boston eventually, got a job at a software company, and learned HTML.
I also started logo design, marketing, and web design for small clients, as well as producing print pieces along the way. Before I knew it, I had a career, and I love what I do very much!
